Armani, or Giorgio Armani, is an Italian fashion designer and founder of the Armani fashion house. He was born in 1934 in Piacenza, Italy.
Armani began his career in the fashion industry in the 1960s, working as a merchandiser for the department store La Rinascente in Milan. He later worked as a designer for the Nino Cerruti company before founding his own fashion house, Armani, in 1975.
Since then, Armani has become one of the most influential fashion designers in the world, known for his classic and refined designs in menswear and womenswear. He has also expanded the Armani brand to include fragrances, cosmetics, and home goods.
Armani has received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the fashion industry, including the CFDA International Award in 1983 and the Legion of Honor from the French government in 2005. He continues to be actively involved in the Armani brand and is recognized as a global fashion icon.
